Ingredients

250g paneer, cubed
2 tbsp butter or ghee
2 medium onions, finely chopped
3 medium tomatoes, pureed
1/4 cup cashews paste
1/2 cup heavy cream
2 tsp ginger-garlic paste
1 tsp cumin seeds
1/2 tsp turmeric powder
1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp garam masala
1/2 tsp cardamom powder
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander leaves

Steps

  1. Heat butter or ghee in a pan and sauté cumin seeds until they splutter.
  2. Add onions and cook until golden brown.
  3. Stir in ginger-garlic paste and cook for 1 minute.
  4. Add tomato puree, turmeric, red chili powder, and salt. Cook until the oil separates.
  5. Mix in the cashew paste and cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring continuously.
  6. Add heavy cream and cook for another 2 minutes.
  7. Gently add paneer cubes and simmer for 5 minutes.
  8. Sprinkle garam masala and cardamom powder, then mix well.
  9. Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve hot with naan or rice.
